Playas del Pueblo

There have been instances where foreigners move into places close to the beach in Puerto Rico, and when locals come to hang out at the beach they claim it is private property. Puerto Rican beaches are not private. They are for the community, and its residents are not opposed to sharing with foreigners or tourists that come to the island. However, these people who are commonly wealthy and outsiders take advantage of this paradise. Thankfully, any time the beaches are messed with, Puerto Ricans unite and protest to protect their rights and nature of the island. The government is not of much help so the people always step in and make their voices heard. That is something I love about being Puerto Rican, being raised around people that do not take no for an answer has taught me to be resilient and fight for whatever I want.
